Luke was an amazing tour guide. Fortunately it was just my parents and I who booked on the day we toured. Luke has so much knowledge of Barcelona and its history. The symbolism and all the historical events that happened around the Gothic quarter were amazing to hear about. I’m glad I booked this tour for my parents and I. I highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour, with a lot of understanding of the history, not just pointing at landmarks. We ended very close to the MUHBA Underground Roman city which added even more to it! Would have liked to go in the churches we saw but they were closed.

Jana was a wonderful guide! So friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour, and saw lots of hidden gems. Jana made the history come to life with her obvious love of Barcelona and its story. She gave us a perfect recommendation for a lovely dinner place that we never would have found on our own.

Incredibly informative. Guide good-natured and interesting, not campy or silly. This is somebody who REALLY loves and appreciates the city, and wants to share his joy. Perfect and interesting intro to the city for our jet-lagged crew trying to stay up after 18-hour day and 12 hour flight. We took the afternoon session to keep us moving until the 8pm bedtime strategy - and couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you Matt!

We loved walking around the gothic quarter with Matt! He was super knowledgeable about everything from Art history to the food to the Roman Empire. We learned a lot about the history of Barcelona. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves learning about old cities!

We were met punctually by Matt, Matt outlined what we would seeing and explained the period of time we would be concentrating on.The tour was enjoyable and very instructive as to Barcelona and how the architecture of the city were influenced by numerous events. Now we know a little bit more about Barcelona than we did earlier today.

Arrrrrrmando was such an incredible storyteller! Much more than your everyday guide, this was a must for anyone who is interested in learning more about Gaudi and the stories behind each stop. He was interesting, attentive, inquisitive and left you wanting to learn more. It was evident that he had a passion and interest in this area of Barcelona.I was in a small group with 2 others and he paced the tour perfectly, while letting us ask questions and take pictures along the way. I would highly recommend signing up for this tour. It also didn’t hurt that the day was perfectly clear, with it being not too hot. I wish I had more time here to sign up for more tours. It was a joy and one of the highlights of my time here. The architecture is absolutely stunning and we covered so much!

Our guide Luke (sorry if that's spelled incorrectly) was fantastic. Very friendly and as a local for 15 yesrs, knew the area well, noting the historical and architectural significance of the sights along the way. There was time to visit shops and time for the best Gelato in Barcelona. Our group highly recommends this tour!
